Changes in progress, Please Note!
Hi all,
4 years since the last journal. We should say something! Thanks for sticking with us! We're making some changes. We hope they will be good for you, good for us, more accepted work, more happiness. This is what we're doing:
This started out as a home for collage and collaboration. So, they get higher billing. We'll try that for a while and see how it goes. If you know someone doing collaorations or collage, please send them over!
New and altered Folders:
Abstract and Surreal are now two folders because they're not the same thing!
Portraits and Figures: We get a lot of portraits and pictures of people. They're not strange, unusual, a
New Awesome Collage Group!!!

Message to All Members
It seems we are still not getting collaborative art or works ready made for collaboration.
Also it seems everyone is only submitting to Featured, even when one of the other Galleries would better suit the art being submitted. Let's try and use the galleries more. Featured is really more of a storehouse for this group's old art.
And please, my fellow artists, do not submit things to Favorites. This group exists to further your art and the art you collaborate in. Let's keep your art in the club's living area and not in its dead weight.
And above all remember to keep it surreal!
Return to Emptiness + New Choices
In making my rounds, trying to invite back the members of the original EmptyHeads club I am saddened to find many of them have left DA. Some have been gone as long as three years. This also presents an opportunity and a new beginning for this haven of emptiness. Since our group status presents us with greater convenience as well as a new vitality, now is a good time to build.
Direct your fellow surrealists to the Emptiness.
New Choices
I'm open to suggestions for new choices in EmptyHeads. It will, of course, remain a strictly surrealist community. But I thought we might create some new galleries. For example, would anyone be interested in
